Voice mode
Have a conversation with Hamster by just talking to it, in app, or in a meeting.
Hamster listens, takes notes, and joins the conversation.
It can answer anything it knows from your knowledge graph, how things are going, what's in play. You can ask at any time "what did we decide on my call with Max?" Or "how did we get to this?"
Chat from the terminal
Hamster chat now works from the terminal. Ask which Briefs need your attention, generate missing Plans, or even kick off a cloud delivery, all without switching up your workflow. Your agents can join in too with the /hamster:ask slash command from the plugin, making delegation to Hamster as easy as asking.
Improvements
- Chat history now separates unread conversations from recent ones, and a closed document chat can be reopened from its header.
- Tool calls and interim work now fold beneath "Worked for…".
- ⌘K search now tolerates abbreviations and typos.
- The chat panel can sit on either side of the screen and remembers where you put it.
- Files can open in a list or icon view.
- Goal cards can now be rearranged directly in card view.
- Briefs can be grouped by Initiative from the Display menu.
- Technical Specs stay current as Brief edits are accepted and reuse settled decisions from related work.
Bug Fixes
- Brief lists now load instead of timing out or appearing empty for some users.
- Teams moving to a lower plan can use their new Brief allowance without old usage immediately blocking them.
- A Brief that finishes delivering no longer drops back to Refining.
- An open chat window no longer blocks the page behind it.
- Clarifying questions now show the option to write your own answer.
- Tasks no longer get stuck loading as a Plan generates.
- Asking for a new Initiative or document no longer reopens older work with a similar title.
- Answers to technical Spec questions are now saved or return a clear error instead of disappearing.
- Connecting an existing GitHub installation no longer sends you back through the account chooser.
- Skills keep the description you write when creating them.
- Suggestions to create a Brief or Initiative disappear from the thread after you dismiss them.
- Unexpected errors now show a useful next step instead of internal diagnostics.
