Deliver and review in one place

Review code with your team, right in Hamster. Plus, GitHub activity can now start your routines.

Review

Your brief is delivered. Now you can check the code against what you asked for, without jumping between Hamster and GitHub. Read the diff with your team, leave comments, and approve or request changes right on the brief.

User on the Plan tab of a delivered brief opens the Review tab to inspect the linked GitHub pull request. They open Changes, read the code diff and inline feedback, then click Approve and submit a review comment. The scene ends with the Approved state and confirmation that the pull request is approved on GitHub, indicating delivered work can be reviewed and approved without leaving Hamster.

Hamster can also walk you through the changes, so you can see how they fit together.

User on the Review tab of a brief switches from Diff to Tour to read an overview and review guidance alongside the changed code. They expand a section, scroll through the inline diffs, and open the comments panel. The scene ends with teammate discussion beside the code, indicating reviewers can follow the reasoning behind a pull request and inspect feedback without leaving the brief.

Routine triggers from GitHub

A pull request merges. Your routine can now handle the follow-up without you checking GitHub and starting it yourself.

User on the Routines page configures a GitHub Pull request merged trigger and saves the routine. They merge a pull request on GitHub, then return to Run History to see the completed run. Hamster flags outdated information in an affected blueprint and presents proposed edits for review. The scene ends with the user clicking Accept all and the updated blueprint in view, indicating GitHub-triggered routines keep blueprints aligned with shipped code while a human approves the changes.

Choose the repository and activity to watch: pull requests opening or merging, submitted reviews, or pushes. The run includes the event details, so Hamster knows which change to work from.

  • Group by now says Owner instead of Creator.
  • Documents scroll at full width again.
  • You can now delete your only team without having to create another one first.
