Put Claude to work on your next brief

Use your own Claude Console account to deliver a brief and follow the work live. Try out changes in a Vercel preview before merging.

Claude Managed Agents

You can now deliver a brief through your own Claude Console account and open the run there to see what Claude is doing. Claude Managed Agents handles the coding in the cloud, and Hamster opens a draft pull request on GitHub.

User on the Plan tab of a brief clicks Deliver, picks the Claude tile in the delivery picker's Coding agents row, clicks Continue, then Deliver My Brief. In the Connect Claude Agents to Hamster dialog, they choose their team, paste a Claude Console API key and click Connect Claude Agents, and Claude Agents connected pops up. Cropped in on the brief header, they click the external-link icon on the Deliver button, and the Claude Console shows the run's session live, marked Running, its transcript of tool calls growing as Claude works. Cropped in on Hamster's delivery thread, Branch pushed is followed by Draft pull request opened, and they click its link. The scene ends on the draft pull request in GitHub, its body carrying a View brief in Hamster link, indicating a team can hand a brief to Claude Agents with one pasted key, watch the run live and get a reviewable pull request back.

Vercel previews

When Hamster Cloud or a cloud agent delivers a brief, Vercel can now build a preview automatically alongside the pull request. You can open the app from Review and click through the change yourself.

User on the Connections page scrolls the catalog to the Vercel tile and clicks it. The Connect Vercel to Hamster dialog explains that Hamster uses Vercel to look up projects, deployments and build logs and make changes in chat, and that with a team installation Vercel builds a preview of each delivered pull request for the Review tab; it can only be installed for the team, so Install for me is disabled. They click Install for team, pick their team on Vercel's install page and click Install. Back in Hamster, they switch previews on for a repository. On a brief's delivery thread, Pushing branch, Signing commits and Draft pull request opened land, then Building preview turns to Preview ready. On the Review tab they open the Preview chip's popover and click Open preview, reaching the running app, indicating a team connects Vercel once and opens each delivery as a running preview from Review.

You can also create a preview for a pull request you've linked to a brief yourself.

Local coding agents

You can now open a coding agent on your computer straight from your brief, with the prompt already filled in.

User on a brief's Plan tab, where the status reads Shipping and the alignment chip reads Ready, opens the caret beside Deliver. The menu lists Hamster Local and Hamster Cloud above an Agents group of Cursor, OpenAI and Claude, and they pick Hamster Local. The Deliver with Hamster dialog is open on Claude Code; they pick Codex, the dialog notes it opens Codex with this prompt filled in, and they press Open in Codex. Codex is open on a new thread on This computer with the Hamster: Ship skill chip and a reference to the brief already in its composer. The user presses Enter, and Codex's first line says it is using the hamster:ship skill to load the brief and check readiness while a Working for timer counts up, indicating a local delivery starts in the user's own coding agent without copying the prompt over.

Alignment

As you talk through what a brief should deliver, you can see who's ready to go ahead and who still needs to weigh in. The redesigned alignment panel puts a face beside every vote.

User cropped into the top of a brief's Brief tab, where the alignment chip in the header reads Ready? beside a dashed ring. They click the chip, which turns into a stack of four profile photos with one ringed green, and the Alignment panel opens at 1/4 ready: one teammate Ready and three people, the user among them, Waiting, each row with a profile photo. They click Ready and the tally ticks up to 2/4 ready, then two teammates' Ready votes land one after another without a refresh, 3/4 ready and then 4/4 ready. Each new vote rises to the top of the list marked Ready and rings another photo in the header green. The panel closes, and the photo stack gives way to a green chip that reads Ready. The scene ends with the green Ready chip in the header, indicating a brief's alignment fills in live as each teammate votes, with a face beside every vote.

Improvements

  • You can now retry a reply Hamster couldn't finish.
  • Hamster now reopens the page you were last on when you come back.
  • Coding agents using MCP can now read a brief's spec.
  • Done and archived initiatives no longer show a Now, Next or Later focus.

Bug Fixes

  • Removing a code connection no longer fails while a repository is still syncing.
  • The first sync no longer gets stuck on files left out of the GitHub download.
  • The repository picker now lists repositories you just added on your code host.
  • Hamster in Slack now finishes replies interrupted by an update, just as it does in the app.
  • Long pastes that include a link now attach as a file instead of failing to send.
  • Messages you send in long threads no longer flicker.
